Returns

There are a few important things to keep in mind when returning a product you purchased online from Chinook Auto Supplies:

  • We accept unopened and unused product returns within 30 days of receipt.

  • We cannot accept items if they have been used or are not in their original packaging. If the product has been used and/or the original packaging is not in new condition, we cannot resell it.

  • Please ensure all items you are returning include all original accessories.

  • We do not pay for shipping for you to make a return and we do not refund shipping charges on the original purchase. We do not charge a restocking fee* ( Swisstrax** )  but for refunds and cancellations over $3,000, there will be a fee of 3% off of the purchase price of the items to cover the credit card processing fee.

  • Once the return is received we will inspect the items in the package. Upon approval, we will refund through the original payment method that was used to place the order.

  • Items shipped from Chinook Auto Supplies are not subject to restocking fees. Items that are dropped shipped directly from distributors may be subject to restocking or other fees as determined by the distributor.

  • **Swisstrax orders have a 25% restocking fee for all items if returned 30 days after the order is placed.

 

Exchanges

We do not accept exchanges or trades. If you ordered the wrong part and need to get something else, send it back under the below directions. You can place a new order for the correct part whenever you’re ready, before or after you receive your refund.

How do I set up a Return?

To set up a return, please send an email to chinook.auto to notify us that you are wanting to process a return. You must provide the following:

1. Your order number
2. List of items you are wanting to return
3. Pictures of each item you are wanting to return

After you have contacted us and we review your return request, we will assign you a return Number. Please clearly write the return Number on the outside of the box as well as reference it on the shipping label.

Dropshipped Items

If an item you are wanting to return did not come from Chinook Auto Supplies, but was dropshipped from one of our suppliers (Swisstrax, Car Mats), you will need to Submit a Request and we can get an Return Number set up for you to return the product to the supplier.
